I taught my husband, Lee, how to piece and sew this quilt together. He was a great student! He picked out his fabric, he sewed his quarter inch seams with meticulous perfection, pressed and used a rotary cutter with skill. I quilted and bound it. We presented it to his mother for her 83rd, 4th of July birthday.
This quilt has 1000 pieces, 2 inches by 1 inch, sewn together. It was pieced by Jeanine Kelsey, about 1995. She made many quilt tops while fighting cancer. The back (in blue) shows the “feathering” stitches.
Grandma’s Flower Garden
This quilt was given to me in many pieces. I hand pieced it. The beauty of the quilt was brought out by the quilting process.
Red and White
Fabulous flannel quilt with wool batting. Warmest and lightest quilt you ever want to be under.
My Happy Quilt

Yellow Rows of Texas
